Meet Rob, a native of Nova Scotia, who grew up in North West BC amidst the fishing industry. Starting his driving career in Prince Rupert, he hauled live crab with a truck and trailer before advancing to a Class 1 commercial driver at a young age. Along the I-5, he crossed paths with Cindy, also a trucker with a route from Abbotsford to Portland. This chance encounter led to a life together. Rob relocated to the Fraser Valley and continued trucking, specializing in flat deck work across the Pacific Northwest. His latest role involved delivering steel to job sites in the lower mainland. Now, armed with a vibrant orange Dodge and a wealth of trucking experience, TUFF Tigger Transport emerges as their next adventure. Throughout his Class 1 career, he's adept at pulling refrigerated loads and making flatdeck deliveries, handling diverse cargo like steel, lumber, and equipment. Rob also holds certifications to operate forklifts, telehandlers, and zoom booms.

Meet Cindy, hailing from Quebec and raised in Delta, where trucking runs in her veins thanks to her long-haul trucker father. With over 20 years of commercial driving experience, she started hauling scrap cars in her teens and later became a Class 1 driver, adept at handling various trailers across the Pacific Northwest. After realizing team driving wasn't for them (with a chuckle), Cindy ventured into the training industry while still running occasional loads for Rob's company and a former employer. Remaining in the training role, she now co-runs Tuff Tigger Transport with Rob, finding joy in the busy and exciting life it brings. Cindy is passionate about safety and training in the industry, actively participating in BCTA trucking committees and advocating for women in trucking roles.
